The Astros are followed by the Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Cubs, and Indians as the teams with the best World Series odds for next season. All six of those teams made the playoffs in 2020, and it’s no surprise that they’re the ones being given the best chance to win it all in 2023.

There are a few teams that stand out as being undervalued according to these World Series odds. The Braves, who made it to the NLCS this year, are currently listed at 20/1. The Rays, who lost to the Astros in the World Series, are also 20/1. The Brewers, who were one of the best teams in the NL this season, are 25/1.
The Astros were heavy favourites to win the World Series going into the playoffs, but they were pushed to the limit by the Phillies in what was one of the most exciting World Series in recent memory.
The World Series featured some of the best young talent in baseball, with Astros third baseman Alex Bregman and Phillies shortstop J.P. Crawford both impressing. Bregman was named the World Series MVP after hitting .316 with two home runs and five RBIs in the six-game series.
