This list is based on a number of factors including recent production, individual skills and offensive contributions to name a few. It’s also worth noting that some of the NHL’s best players are currently injured and could make a push for MVP honours once they return to the lineup. This includes the likes of Edmonton’s Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Pittsburgh’s Evgeni Malkin and Toronto’s John Tavares.
